## The importance of having your own air cargo insurance

Sending your shipment from A to B may seem simple, but there’s actually a lot to consider, and unfortunately, a lot can go wrong. The last thing you want is for your cargo to arrive at its destination in poor condition. The costs can be high, and your business could suffer significant losses. While we can’t prevent accidents from happening, you can protect yourself against lost or damaged freight. That’s why we recommend taking out your own transport insurance to minimize the risks related to the costs of your air freight. Why?

- Your buyer or supplier may be insured, but relying on that is risky. With your own transport insurance, you know exactly what the coverage is.
- You are liable for loss or damage to the freight after a natural disaster, not the freight forwarder.
